Students of International Relations & Diplomacy department offered one-month Internship program by UNAMI Erbil, Iraq.

Students of the International Relations & Diplomacy department under the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics successfully initiated the Internship program (Summer Practice) for one month from July 8th, 2019 to August 8th, 2019

Mr. Ricardo Rodriguez, Head of Erbil Regional Office of UNAMI gave introduction speech about the aim of the program that gives the scope of learning and mandate to the university students to be closer to work of the United Nation in Iraq.

Regarding the activity within the period of internship, Mr. Ricardo said that several activities will be organized by Erbil Regional Office of UNAMI (ERO) under the supervision of UNAMI political affairs office which aims primarily to develop students’ political analysis skills, enable them to learn about UN’s overall work and its mandate in Iraq. 

Internship program is a period of work experience that the host organization organizes training, group discussion and working environment to give learning opportunity to students which relate to their field of study.

Tishk International University and Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics appreciate Mr. Ricardo Rodriguez, Head of Erbil Regional Office of UNAMI and Erbil Regional office of UNAMI in supporting our students through the Internship program.
