Academic Trip : Erbil Citadel Museum


on 21st of December 2017, First-year students paid a scientific visit to Erbil Citadel Gems and Stones Museum under the supervision of lecturer Dr. Shwan with assistants Mr.Huner Mahdi and ms.Shaida Mustafa. we welcomed by geologist Mr.Sarbast the owner and manager of Erbil Stones & Gems Museum who taught students about Rock types and Fossils then students assigned to prepare a report regarding the visit.

Petroleum and Mining Engineering at Ishik University.


Department of Petroleum and Mining Engineering is a four-year programme. Thus, the department will have the first and the second years to increase general science knowledge of students and the third and the fourth years to advance student's professional development. The Four-year plan is compatible with the plan of our university and is in line with the rules and regulations of petroleum and mining engineering programmes in Kurdistan.

Welcoming Seminar for the new-coming students.


On Sunday, November, the 26th, The Petroleum & Mining Engineering department of Ishik University by the supervision of the head of Department, Dr. Srood Farooq, held a welcoming seminar, targeting the freshman students that are willing to study PAME in Ishik University.
