A scientific trip has been arranged for first grade students of petroleum and mining engineering department to stone and gams museum which is located in Erbil citadel on 5th Feb 2019 by Dr. Shwan Omer, Lecturer of the course in titled “General Geology I” The purpose of his trip was to familiarize students with various types of rocks and minerals, Improve their knowledge about local and global rocks and minerals, and examine the rocks and minerals practically.
